The Centers for Disease Control and Protection (CDC) has issued a sweeping order issuing a national moratorium on most evictions for nonpayment of rent. The order is intended to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure people are able to practice social distancing. This order is not a blanket order and you must complete a declaration and turn it in to your landloard or property manager to be protected from eviction.
